Progress...and The 10 Minute Rule

Mr Prue seems to be improving slowly which is a relief. He still can't move around as he did before but he looks better and is no longer in pain.

As is often the case after a period of change or stress, I've gone into sleep mode. My brain seems to have shut down and even thinking is difficult. The writing routine I got going no longer exists and I need to start it up again. Easier said than done!

Time to remember the Ten Minute Rule.

Even if I can't put in an hour's writing, I can write for just 10 minutes. 10 minutes is not a big deal. I use this for getting started on so many things and once I'm in action, it's easy to keep going. It's the getting going that seems to be my problem!

Ok...I'm off to do 10 minutes of changing the sheets although ten minutes sleeping sounds a much better idea :)

  2. Thanks Sari. Feels as if I've been hanging onto writing by one fingernail! Now Mr Prue is getting better, I plan on starting writing a short story next week. Fingers crossed...
